Frequently Asked Questions.

+ May we check-in early and/or stay late?

Normal check-in time is between 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm and normal checkout time is 12 noon. If there is nobody on your campsite then we would be pleased to assist you with early check-in. (Late arrival check-in fee is $15 unless pre-approved.) If there is nobody scheduled to check into your campsite on that day, then you may pay the $15.00 late checkout fee and stay until 6:00 pm (maybe later depending on circumstances).

+ Do you stay open year-round?

Our campground is open every day, all year long. The 2021 season for our Seasonal Campers starts on Saturday, 01 May 2021 and ends on Sunday, 31 Oct 2021; the water will be turned off (winterized) on or after 15 Oct 2021. (Arrangements will be made for Seasonal Campers that wish to arrive prior to 01 May 2021.)

+ How many campers can we have on one campsite and may we have visitors?

Campground rates are based on a family of two adults and four children/grandchildren (17 years old or younger). We want visitors, but an additional fee of $5.00 per person, per night, applies for more campers, to cover the cost of extra utilities, sewer system load, etc. The $5.00 visitor fee applies if a visitor stays more than 3 hours. Visitors should stop by either the Camp Office or the Camp Host’s RV for a visitor’s pass and to pay the visitor fee. Maximum of eight campers allowed per site based on Michigan State law. Only one unit per campsite is allowed.

+ What is the campground cancellation policy?

Call before noon five days before your scheduled arrival for refund of deposit. There is a $10.00 handling charge for cancellations. If no contact is made before the deadline, your deposit will be forfeited.

+ May we use our electric generator while parked at my campsite?

Generators may be used, but only if the noise does not bother other campers. Campers come here for peace and quiet.

+ May we have a dog at our campsite?

Yes. Two dogs are permitted per campsite. Dogs must be in a leash. Dogs must be cleaned up after. If dogs are a problem, you may unfortunately be asked to leave, with no refund.

+ May we bring in outside firewood?

Outside firewood is not permitted on our campground due to the threat of the Emerald Ash Borer. We sell locally cut firewood.

+ May we park several vehicles on my campsite?

Kindly park no more than one RV, one vehicle, and one ATV/UTV on a campsite. There are three overflow parking areas. One is in the front of the campground. The other is between the Red Recreation Building and the Yellow Dumpster. The third is in the open field behind the row of 20/30/50-amp Campers. Please do not infringe on your neighbor’s campsite.
